Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday transferred Sajad Hussain Mufti (IFS), presently attached with Chief Conservator of Forests, Jammu, and placed his services at the disposal of Union Territory of Ladakh, with immediate effect, until further orders or till final allocation by the Central Government under section 88(4) of the Jammu and Kashmir Re-organization Act, 2019. Mufti is the cousin brother of former chief minister and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti.
